When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to join the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted “a Harrison Ford type”; and was prepared to audition people who looked like Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they should at least bring it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that the project was brought to Harrison Ford, generating interest from other notable actors. In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was elated nonetheless.
This show is a blast!!
The characters have grown so much even in the first and second episodes, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed, and all the actors do a great job! This is one of the best episodes of Piolet I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does an amazing job in his supporting role, and Jason Segel does a wonderful job playing a flawed, damaged character who is trying to be a better person and father.
This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while!
This show made me laugh like I haven’t laughed in a long time. As a psychology student, this show is hilarious, and as a theater student, I can appreciate how great the script flows. I can’t understand the negative reviews because this is already one of my favorite shows after only two episodes.
I hope the rest is just as good!!
